If you enjoy reading and exchanging views with intelligent and informed people, you will find our book discussions stimulating and thought provoking

• English & Citizenship Class
If you know any immigrants who are interested in becoming American citizens, our English and Citizenship class will certainly help them achieve that goal. The studies incorproate elarning about American history, holidays, culture and how the tri-part government works and gets along.

Our class meets once a week on Thursday afternoon for 3:30PM to 5:30PM.

• T'ai Chi Class
We all know that in order to live a healthy lifestyle, it is important to exercise regularly. There are two easy-to-do exercise routines that you can practice daily.

Come and join our group; it will help you to be a better person. We meet once a week on Thursday afternoon from 1:30 - 2:30PM, unless it is an American or Jewish Holiday.

• Holiday Function
• Matzoh Fund
For over 30 years Rego Park Jewish Center has sponsored a Matzoh Dinner to sponsor a Matzoh and Appeal Campaign. The Campaign runs from February 1st until Passover. The funds that are raised are used to supply food for the needy so they can participate in the joyous holiday of Passover with dignity. The funds are acquired from those people who attend the Matzoh Fund Dinner and by donations from those who cannot attend the dinner. The proceeds are sent to Tomchei Shabbas of Queens, who distribute food baskets to the needy with all the necessities for the seders and the balance of Passover.

The creative poets, writers, storytellers, dramatists, artists and folk singers can use this venue to give forth their expressions.
• Flea Market

In 2009 the Rego Park Jewish Center will celebrate it's 70th anniversary. Throughout the year we will be having many activities for the entire community. Come enjoy the celebration.
• Religious School
Our Religious School provides all children in our synagogue with a strong foundation in Judaism. Our children learn about the Jewish Holidays, Custom and Ceremonies, Bible Stories, Blessings, Early Jewish History, beginning Hebrew Vocabulary, Arts and Crafts and Beginning Hebrew Reading.

Rabbi Waidenbaum will be teaching five new Adult Education classes this year.
